The FAA made CRM/SPRM a regulatory requirement for all Part 135 Operators. The new requirement allows two years for initial compliance.

Century CRM receives FAA certification qualifying their NBAA PDP Leadership course as an IA (Inspection Authorization) Renewal Course.  The course title for the NBAA PDP course was Human Factors for Aviation Leaders.  The new course title reflects minor changes to meet FAA requirements and is called "Human Factors, Safety Management Systems and Technical Training for Maintenance Professionals".  The two day course meets both PDP and IA refresher requirements in one course saving time and money.

NTSB adds Part 135 CRM to Most Wanted List

This week the NTSB released their 2007 most wanted safety improvements.
Included in the list was Crew Resource Management training for all FAA Part
135 Operators. The most wanted list includes those items the NTSB feels the FAA should act upon. According to the list, the FAA response to date has been unacceptable.
